          STRYVE Education Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, STRYVE Education Foundation provides information resources and services directly to public and private school systems across the U.S.

          Our mission is to inform and inspire young people utilizing real-life information and advice in the areas of academics, career, financial responsibility, community involvement and health & wellness.

 

STRYVE Education Foundation provides the following programs, products and services:

 

Programs:

Teen Journalism

            STRYVE Education Foundation partners with schools in an effort to provide journalism and broadcast journalism program for teenaged students. The purpose of this program is to encourage and inspire young journalists and to provide guidance and support. We will host writing and broadcast workshops with local professionals donating their time and use of their facilities. STRYVE Education Foundation will also form partnerships with various publications and local broadcast entities in an attempt to allow students the opportunity to have their works published and broadcast live, including but not limited to STRYVE Magazine. We will explore a broad range of topics from current affairs to sports, music and movies, along with our own core initiatives.

 

Focus Groups 

             STRYVE Education Foundation partners with various organizations to facilitate focus group meetings to allow young people to have in depth question and answer sessions based on our core initiatives. Young people will walk away with invaluable information that they can apply to their lives.

 


Products:

STRYVE Magazine

            STRYVE Magazine is published by STRYVE Education Foundation on a quarterly basis. STRYVE Magazine is our primary platform to communicate with teenagers, parents and teachers as it relates to our core initiatives. This print publication along with the supplemental website, www.stryvemagazine.com is also used to promote opportunities related to our teen journalism program to directly benefit aspiring teen writers and teen broadcasters.

 

 

Services:

Public Speakers

STRYVE Education Foundation will coordinate public speakers to speak directly to high school students covering topics directly related to our core initiatives (academics, career, financial responsibility, community involvement and health & wellness). We will also work with schools to develop enrichment classes as additional offerings to their current curriculum.

 

College Exploration

STRYVE Education Foundation will organize college visits to universities, community colleges, technical schools, etc. for junior high and high school students in the state of Texas. We also facilitate workshops and discussion forums that help students determine the optimal college major field of study.

 

Financial Responsibility

            This program is an enrichment course to be implemented within each schools regular curriculum. The purpose of this program is to increase teenagers basic financial knowledge and awareness on all things financial before they enter college. Sample topics to be covered are: investing, saving vs. spending, the real dangers of credit cards, etc. The course will be taught by a STRYVE Education Foundation representative or sponsoring financial institution representative. The curriculum to be used for this course utilizes material and resources from our partnership with the National Endowment for Financial Education.

 

Community Volunteering and Activism

STRYVE Education Foundation will coordinate volunteer opportunities for high school students with various non-profit groups in the state of Texas. The purpose of this program is to increase teen involvement in their surrounding communities and awareness of the needs in these communities.
